is the ink blue or black?

The ink is black. The pen does take standard ballpoint pen replacements, though, so you can change out the ink to any color you'd like once you receive the set. You can purchase replacement cartridges at any local office store.

I would like to order 4 pens but with different inscriptions and names. How can I do that online? It doesn't seem to give me an option for placing different engravings on the same style pens. Please help.

You'll need to check the Personalize It checkbox on the item page, above the Add To Cart button. After entering your first engraving, add the pen to the shopping cart. Then hit the keep shopping button in the shopping cart to go back and add the second pen with different engraving. Please let us know if you have any questions.

The bamboo pen came in a bamboo box and the verse of scripture was imprinted as requested, size and font, spelling all legible and correct. It arrived after ordering in good order and quickly. I am very happy with the product and the options of pen type and choice of inscriptions. I received a pen in a case back in 1968 as a graduation gift from my mom's boss.
