Does this watch have the exact same embossing on both sides? or is the second picture just a duplicate picture of the front in a different orientation?
If the front and back are different what does the back look like? Can it be engraved?

Where does the engraving go on the watch?

There is a small smooth shield on the front cover where the engraving is done. We can engrave three letters or numbers, and they are done vertically on the shield.

It looks like the front cover has a lot of detail and scrollwork on it. Where does the engraving go...on the inside of the front cover?

There is a smooth shield in the center of the front cover where we engrave up to three initials for you. The inside of the front cover cannot be engraved. I hope that helps :-)

No, sorry, the inside of the cover has a swirled pattern that cannot be engraved over. It can only be engraved on the shield on the front cover.

Verified BuyerFirst off, these reviews really do help. My fiancé always wanted a pocket watch so I was shopping around for one for his birthday. I saw this website and was going to originally go with the smaller-faced pocket watch but after reading reviews of how some people thought it was too small for them particularly I opted for the slightly larger faced watch. Point is, had the reviews not been there I probably would've wished I went with bigger one as it just fits my fiancé better.
Second, the watch is GORGEOUS. Like other reviews say, it definitely looks more expensive than what executive gift shoppe charges. My fiancé absolutely LOVES it and every single person stops to compliment it! The only thing I would mention is to get a font bigger than pt 12 if you really want the engraving to stand out. It still looks incredible, but for next time I know I might want the engraving slightly larger. Also, if you're worried about the size of the chain, don't be. I wasn't sure either how long the chain should be being that I've never purchased a pocket watch, or even seen one in person for that matter lol but the length of chain is perfect.
Third, the shipping time is incredible. They really do ship it out 1-day shipping the next business day. I got this quicker than I had gotten an engraved gift my fiancé and I had gotten in our local mall for his parents, not to mention its a complete rip off how much they charge for engraving and the product itself. I wish I had known about this site before purchasing that gift there.
Fourth, unfortunately the original watch I had received was defective and stopped working about a week after I gave it to my fiancé. I immediately called and left a message. Pete called back in about an hour, I briefly explained the situation and without hesitation he said he'd be sending a new one out the next business day with a prepaid shipping label for me to return the first watch. Not even 48 hours later I received the new watch and label.
I never shop online being that it always turns out to be a huge headache, but NOT with this company. I can't wait until the next gift I have to buy! LOL!

This pocket watch looks like it should sell for three times the asking price. Unbelievable! The detail is amazing. Would recommend to all. Also,the shipping was lightning fast. Couldnt believe it arrived so quick.
