How to add the battery?
1 Answer
You'll need to remove the clock from the steel base.  If you remove the clock, you'll be able to access the back of the clock itself.  There is a plastic tab that needs to be removed.  Once you remove this and push the knob in, the battery will be activated and the clock should run.

Where does the engraving on the desk clock go?

The engraving goes on a silver plate with black text, attached to the top of the base in front of the clock.
