No, the sizing does not correlate to an actual measurement. It is just used to adjust the size on the preview you'll see. To see the preview, press the Preview Personalization button. Our engravers will match the sizing to the preview.

Verified BuyerPerhaps I overlooked the dimension details for this piece, but it is very, very small. Much more minute than the clips I've seen in the past. Having said that, I think it is a lovely piece with the monogram and inscription, I hope he likes it and is able to use it. He's a big man with large hands, so this clip my be frustrating for him to manipulate. Nonetheless, I think he'll appreciate the gesture. I'll definitely order again, but pay attention to the detailed description.
