This burl wood handle pocket knife has a smooth, comfortable feel in your hand. The wood has rounded edges and no sharp corners so it nestled snugly in your palm and is easy to grip tightly. When it is personalized, is the lettering etched? or is it printed?

The text is laser engraved right into the wood. The laser engraving burns away the wood to create permanent, etched letters that are about 1/8" deep.

When it was opened on Xmas day, the knife does not lock in place & the burl on the back of the knife is cracked where it is riveted in.
