With the option to add flints and wicks does that mean it does not come with a flint or wick in it already or is that for extra wicks and flints?

It comes with a flint and wick already, you'll just need to add lighter fluid to get it working. We do not sell lighter fluid, you can find it at most grocery stores and convenience stores.

Yes, we laser away the top layer of matte finish to expose the brass underneath. The engraving shows very clearly.

We can only engrave images on Zippo Lighters if you're ordering 25 pieces or more. If you are ordering that many, email us at help@executivegiftshoppe.com with the item #, the quantity needed and the image you'd like engraved.

I am interested in getting a few of the matte black zippo lighters with names and initials on them. On the site it says you can have them engraved but I do not see a spot to enter what I would like engraved. How do I go about that??

Like most products here, you can add a nice engraving to this item. You can add engraving both to the front and the back, and you can choose font size and font family. I chose the same writting that I used on the pen set, that way I had nice 'matching' gift that my girlfriend really liked. She liked the lighter so much and she though it was a gift so special that she said she wouldn't take it outside the house from fear of loosing it!
I wrote the following. On the front, I had it engraved: 'To the love of my life,Katie'. On the back I had it engraved: 'Let me be your light in all the dark places where you must go'.
